I had a lovely warm large room with walk in shower room .bed was very comfortable..with modern decor .and I was made so welcome.nothing too much trouble.U found it far nicer than staying in a hotel ..and thoroughly recommend Riseden.

We have stayed with Chris and Andy on numerous occasions over the last 2 years and we can say without exception that everything has been perfect. The rooms are superbly equipped with everything you could possibly need and are immaculately clean. The breakfasts are superb with a menu to suit all tastes and lastly but not least - we are always warmly greeted. We have no hesitation in highly recommending a stay at Riseden!

The couple were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean and tidy The bed comfortable and the shower was great. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent stay in this professionally run B&B. Christine and Andy are very welcoming hosts who aim to cater for the needs of their guests and do so very convincingly. They offer a beautiful, large, and clean room in a quiet residential area, and provide a tasty home-made breakfast every morning. They also offer plenty of advice as to where you can eat, go shopping, and do sightseeing in the neighbourhood. To sum up, we had a great time at Riseden. Highly recommendable!

Fantastic place, first class service with Christine and Andy. Comfortable bed, lovely shower, lovely bedroom suite. Loved it all including the excellent full English breakfast.

We made a stopover in Sissinghurst. The stay at Riseden was perfect. A very comfy bed, a huge a new bathroom with a great shower. Everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious and we had a very warm welcome. Thanks a lot.

Lovely friendly Hosts who made us feel most welcome in their home. Could not wish for a more perfect room and its facilities. Breakfast selection was very good and freshly cooked as requested.Would highly recommend this accommodation and will use it again.

We chose Riseden as we had a family party to go to and this was in the right vicinity.How glad we were!Very personal service from Christine and Andy, exceptionally clean with a beautifully decorated bedroom, really comfortable bed and pillows and a superb bathroom.The best bit was the Full English breakfast.Cooked to order so piping hot, bacon you could actually eat and enjoy (our experience of B & Bs is that they can never cook bacon), sausages from a butcher, eggs from the farm shop and bread from the local bakery.This will definitely be our go-to place for future family gatherings

The location was very convenient from the Eurotunnel for our return journey to the North of England. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The hosts were very friendly and informative. We would certainly recommend Riseden and intend to return another time.

Our holiday began as soon as we arrived with a warm welcome and fabulous accommodation. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and everything there you would need. The breakfast room looked out onto their lovely garden from the conservatory and breakfast was delicious. A credit to the hosts. We adored our time at Riseden. Andy and Christine instantly make you feel welcome. The room is beautifully decorated and so so comfortable. The bathroom is spotless and the breakfasts are yummy. Definitely a home away from home. We would love to return one day.

We have stayed the Riseden a few times and Christine and Andy are perfect hosts. The location is peaceful, rooms are luxurious and breakfast is outstanding, especially the porridge!

Situated in a quiet residential area.Rooms are comfortable light and spacious, with forethought gone into storage space in bedroom and bathroom areas.Comfortable beds with luxious linen.Breakfasts are wonderful home cooked meals taken in the conservatory overlooking the garden.

Everything as it should be. Very friendly welcome. Impeccably clean, extremely comfortable bed and top quality furnishings.And topped off with a delicious breakfast!!

We stayed for three nights in this excellent B & B. The room was large, with a huge and very comfortable double bed. Everything was beautifully clean. The breakfasts were first class with plenty to choose from. Christine and Andy were the perfect hosts.

Christine and Andy are very friendly and welcoming. They are also extremely efficient. The house is very warm and comfortable, the bed is wonderful, the shower is brilliant and the room spacious. It is extremely quiet.Breakfast is very good with a wide choice for all tastes. There are nice walks in the neighbourhood too, lots of footpaths and Loose village is lovely.Heartily recommended!

We stayed one night with Christine and Andy at Riseden B&B when visiting Old friends in Maidstone. The whole experience was excellent - a very warm welcome to a lovely house and garden in a quiet setting. Everything about the room was spot on and we went on our way next morning, fortified with a perfect full English breakfast. The best B&B we've ever used. If you're looking for accommodation in Maidstone do not hesitate to stay at Riseden!

I cannot praise our hosts enough, what a wonderful, comfortable, relaxed and friendly place to stay. A warm welcome made it feel like home from home, our room was spacious and well appointed and the breakfast was superb, we will definitely be staying again 10 out of 10 !

We wanted to stay over in Maidstone for a family celebration, so we looked about for a B&B. We were surprised about the quality of the accomodation, it looked as if it had only been refurbished the same week. All the facilities were top notch. The bed, which I think was a super king was very comfortable, towels lovely etc.The breakfast was spot on, and quite varied. We will stay here again soon, and more than happy to recommend to anybody who wants a 5* B&B.

Lovely hosts, room as advertised, great breakfast, peaceful....what more can we say!

We have stayed at this absolute gem many times.It is our favourite B&B and wonderfully comfortable.Christine and Andy are superb hosts, and nothing is too much trouble for them.It would be selfish of us not to share our recommendation...and we do so reluctantly, in the hope that they are not fully-booked when we next need to stay there!

Riseden is an absolutely fabulous B&B and we cannot recommend it highly enough.The lovely bedroom was decorated to the highest standard, was extremely comfortable and meticulously clean and both Christine and Andy went the extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.Breakfast the next morning was delicious and everything we'd hoped for and we left the property feeling we'd really discovered a little gem in the Loose valley !

All in all everything was perfect! I will gladly come back again.my advice: Drive the extra mile - no need to look elsewhere

Their attention to detail is evident in details such as having a touch-activated mirror. We had a fabulous breakfast and they gave us advice on where to visit locally. Riseden B&B is definitely a place I'd come back to if I visit the area again. Tirelessly kept spotless, and friendly personal approach from the hosts. It is also close to a village with medieaval houses, footpaths in the countryside and if need be all the way into Maidstone avoiding the main roads and passing the various 13 Mills that made use of the stream down to the Medway

Me and my boyfriend we stayed for 1 night at Riseden B&B and we were really impressed with the place. The host was really nice and friendly, the room incredibly clean and cosy. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning and we could chill in the garden.I would definitely recommend choosing Riseden B&B if you need an overnight staying in Maidstone.

From the first minute we arrived at Riseden B and B, all was superb. My friend and I had a very warm welcome from Andy our host. Our room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean. The room was also serviced every day which was unexpected in a B and B, and coming in from our adventures every day was a real treat. Christine, our hostess was marvellous; her breakfasts were excellent, especially the little pots of yoghurt, coulis and granola. She couldn't have done more for us and it is clear that she has many years of experience in the hospitality trade as everything was top-notch. I celebrated my 60th birthday whilst there, and when a taxi wasn't to be found, Andy drove us to the restaurant and Christine made sure a return taxi was booked. I didn't want to leave after our 5 days were up and I'm already missing Christine's kindness and Andy's jokes! I feel that we arrived as strangers and left as friends. I never go to this amount of trouble in writing a review, but I know that Riseden deserves more than a cursory 'Excellent'. If I am ever back in this area, I will return. State of the art Shower, up to date decor, very comfortable, quiet room and very friendly owners. Excellent Breakfast, recommend the Greyhound pub for a pleasant meal in a querky and convivial pub.

Comfortable, quiet B&B with very helpful and friendly hosts. Ideal for an overnight stay before or after the Channel tunnel. There are, however, a number of interesting places in the vicinity and apparently very nice walks, too, to make it worthwhile for a longer stay. We might come back and do just that. Pub with excellent food in walking distance.

We enjoyed very much, our stay with friendly hosts, Andy and Christine, who could not have been more accommodating. The house and room were spotless, the breakfasts of superb quality and copious, and the location, in a quiet close, ensured a peaceful night’s sleep. Nothing short of 5 star excellence.

Visited Maidstone (from South Yorkshire)for a one night stay as we were attending an engagement party at a venue in the town centre. Made to feel very welcome and comfortable on arrival. Spacious room with ensuite and all very clean and tidy. Booked taxis for us. Comfortable night's sleep. Great service and choice at breakfast and both cooked choices (poached eggs on toast & full English) were delicious. Would not hesitate to book another stay whenever we are in the area.

My husband and I sadly only stayed one night at this delightful B&B, this was a last minute decision on our way home and was defiantly an amazing find.The house was immaculately clean with a lovely decor, our room was absolutely adorable with an on-suite bathroom. Breakfast was really delicious with good quality food, I have multiple food allergies and dietary requirements, these were not an issue and catered to all of my needs.The parking is perfect as it is on the drive with plenty of room for multiple cars.We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived and this continued through the entirety of our stay, we will definitely be going back again as we had a wonderful stay at the Riseden.

We had stayed at the Risedon previously for a family party and so this was our choice again as we were in the area.It was like staying with family.The room was large, comfortable and clean.Our hosts were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and cooked just how you wanted it.I would not hesitate recommending the Riseden B&B and would definitely stay there again. This is simply a great B and B.Christine runs a beautifully furnished home.Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was superb (I didn't try the bath but the shower was excellent - always an important aspect for me).Breakfast was excellent - my partner enjoyed her cooked breakfast whereas I had Christine's excellent home made yoghurt along with a perfectly poached egg on toast.There was no one staying in our room after our stay so Christine was totally relaxed about our departure time which I really appreciated.Would definitely stay there again when next in the area.The location is quiet with plenty of parking.

Stayed here with my daughter for one night whilst attending a gig at nearby Mote Park. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so welcome. Andy and Christine were brilliant hosts and the accommodation they provide is top notch as was the breakfast. This was our first stay here and we will definitely return if back in the area (and provided they haven't left for warmer climates lol) ...we were running a little late so I called to let them know and Christine was brilliant, she recommended the Chequers Inn for a meal and even booked a table for us. The meal at the Chequers was exceptionally good as was the beer and the bar staff attending to us so many thanks to them too. Overall the whole experience was splendid and we left with renewed hope that the UK may be getting back to normal at least in small corners. Many thanks folks.

Our hosts were friendly and very welcoming.The room was outstanding, it was clean and fresh, and beautifully decorated with lots of storage facilities, tea, coffee and high quality biscuits were available every day.Our room had a view overlooking the garden.The bathroom was superb with lovely wrap around bath sheets supplied. There was also ironing facilities in the room. Wonderful food was served each day and it was always service with a smile.There was also a guest fridge in the dining area with fresh milk and bottled water for you to help yourself.Nothing was too much trouble for Caroline and Ian and they both made our five night stay with them extremely enjoyable, and for this we thank them.We would not hesitate in recommending Riseden to anyone who wishes to holiday in this part of Kent.Ian and Patricia MacDonald

I had a one night stay at The Riseden. It was a last minute booking but I was well received. The premises was clean and looked lovely. The service was fantastic and our every need was met. The room felt like I was home though my home isnt that clean. The hostess was lovely and very attentive. I would recommend The Riseden to anyone looking for a place to stay.

We spent 2 nights at this b and b and couldn't fault it. Situated in a quiet spot in the middle of the village, the room and bathroom were warm, spacious and spotlessly clean.I rarely sleep well away from home but the bed was extremely comfortable.Christine and Andy are a lovely couple who make you welcome and go out of their way to help...from booking a table at a recommended place to eat to lending us a huge umbrella to keep the rain off at a function on a very wet day. Breakfast, taken in the conservatory, was good. The yogurt/granola pots delicious and Christine makes an excellent scrambled egg! All lovely. Thank you.

The reception was friendly and very accommodating, arranging for a taxi for our night out at Leeds Castle. The room was top class and the bed so comfortable. Would highly recommend this B&B. Went away happy after a good nights sleep and our bellies full from a great cooked breakfast :-)

We stayed here recently with our 6month baby. It was so welcoming with a cot in our bedroom on arrival. My husband is vegan and they catered wonderfully to this, even leaving vegan biscuits in our hotel room. The bedroom and bathroom was large with a very comfy bed! Would highly recommend.

We also holiday In France and if ever using the ferry from Dover or the Chunnel we would definitely stay at the Riseden for all the above reasons and also its proximity to Dover.

We had a wonderful stay at Riseden B&B. Very spacious room and comfortable bed. All beautifully presented.Lovely breakfast and Christine was very welcoming.We will certainly stay at Riseden again.

Dear Christine, We enjoyed our stay in your B&B. We were ther on our way to Wales and on our way back home. We enjoyed the room for us and for our daughter Anita. We stayed at Riseden for two nights in connection with the funeral of an old friend taking place 200 miles from our home.Andy & Christine were excellent hosts who we noticed went out of their way to advise non-UK guests on the best ways to visit London.They also recommended the Chequers pub for an evening meal - this was in an idyllic location.Cannot fault the accommodation or breakfasts.

Fantastic accommodation, lovely hosts, and excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again when back in this area.

This bnb is very nice, we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are lovely and everything is very clean. The host was very sweet and kind. The breakfast was nice too, we especially loved the selfmade yoghurts every morning. We would recommend it to everyone, we loved it.

We only stayed at this lovely place for one evening but can highly recommend it as the best Bed & Breakfast accommodation we have stayed in for a long time.We were made welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble with the hosts very friendly even recommending a lovely walk in the evening.Breakfast was varied and delicious.We hope we visit Maidstone again when we will certainly stay at Riseden.

We can not fault this B and B at all.Everything was perfect, including delicious breakfasts and exceptionally clean and spacious modern accomodation.We highly recomend this B and B, one of the best we've ever stayed at.We wish to give this a 5 star rating but the rating system below does not appear to work!

My husband and I stayed Saturday night 22nd June 19.The couple that own it are the nicest people your ever likely to meet. The BB is of the highest standard, nothing is to much trouble we will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this place

Ideal location for us going to our son's wedding venue in Hamlet Woods just around the corner.Delightful hosts, spotlessly clean, fabulous breakfast ... couldn't have asked for more! Highly recommend Andy & Christine's home.

Very clean and warm, very friendly and the room was beautifully decorated. Breakfast lovely and would highly recommend.

We only spent 1 night here, but we did not feel as guests but as a family member! Kids and I would have loved to stay longer.Room is of very high quality, lovely decorated and comfortable beds. Very clean. Breakfast also very good, with a selection of freshly cooked food.Can absolutely recommend this place!

We received a lovely warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are outstanding with everything you could need for your stay. The whole property is clean and well looked after. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

we Wanted a quiet weekend away,and found this fabulous B&B .The hosts were friendly and looked after my wife’s diet needs .The rooms were spacious and so well decorated and catered for your every need. Well worth a visit.

Stayed at the Riseden Bed and Breakfast more than once. Every time everything is great! Beautiful house, hospitable hosts, beautiful room, shower, toilet room, comfortable bed, everything is very cute, delicious breakfast! The atmosphere is very warm. The room has a kettle, tea, cups, cookies. We are very satisfied! We will come there again! Recommended !!!I hope my English is understandable, I use a translator.

Lovely spacious room in large family home. Large bed was super comfy, amazing shower room, smart tv was great, plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was amazing ...owner went out of way to not only provide us with an alternative breakfast ...but then also dropped us off locally to pick up our vehicle, which had been left off site for NYE. Would highly recommend.
